Designer Virus-like particles (VLPs)
With the unique rePAX® technology, Redbiotec can copy viruses (or parts of them) as nature-like virus-like particles (VLPs), which are functional but non-replicating and therefore non-hazardous. Through this, all viral diseases are addressable.
Redbiotec’s Designer VLPs are:
- Designed, antigenically defined
- Safe, functional but non-replicating (BSL 1)
- Highly immunogenic
- Nature-like or
- Chimeric
In addition, Redbiotec can express proteins of different viral targets on one chimeric VLP.
